One charity close to our hearts is KickStart for Kids, a South Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides breakfasts, lunches, and mentoring programs to support disadvantaged children in schools across the state.

KickStart for Kids
Founded in 2011, KickStart for Kids believes every child deserves an equal chance to succeed. They run school breakfast and lunch programs, mentoring initiatives, and provide essential clothing and healthcare support across more than 350 South Australian schools, serving over 50,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches each week.
Teen Challenge SA
Teen Challenge South Australia is a not‑for‑profit organisation supporting men 18 years and above who are seeking to break free from drug and alcohol addiction and other life‑controlling issues. Established in South Australia in 1982, Teen Challenge SA provides long‑term, residential rehabilitation in a structured and supportive environment.
Their core program, Living Free, is a live‑in rehabilitation program designed to support lasting personal change. The program focuses on addressing the underlying causes of addiction and supports participants to rebuild their lives through mentoring, routine, accountability and personal development.
Teen Challenge SA takes a whole‑person approach, supporting participants to develop life skills, healthier relationships, a stronger work ethic and a renewed sense of purpose. While the program is based on Christian principles, participants come from diverse backgrounds and belief systems.
Youth Options
Youth Options supports young people experiencing social disadvantage through programs that build confidence, skills, and work readiness. As a registered NDIS provider, they also offer highly individualised services for young people living with a disability. Their experiential, capacity-building programs empower participants to break free from cycles of low-skilled, insecure employment and move toward meaningful, sustainable career pathways.
Mount Barker Roos
The Mount Barker Football Club, proudly known as the Roos, is a cornerstone of community sport in the Adelaide Hills. With a strong focus on teamwork, development, and local pride, the club provides players of all ages with opportunities to grow, compete, and connect through Australian Rules Football.
More than just a football club, the Roos are deeply involved in the local community, encouraging a sense of belonging, promoting healthy lifestyles, and offering a supportive environment for players, families, and fans alike. Their commitment to inclusivity and grassroots sport makes them a vital part of the region’s sporting culture.

The Adelaide Hills Bucks are a franchise of the Adelaide Premier League. Where cricket players of all ages will benefit from the opportunity to learn and experience T20 cricket.
Their mission is to create an irresistible experience for all ages to excel their skills in a new format of cricket. They aspire to create new pathways to guide and stimulate the aspiring junior cricketer as well as support T20 gateways to enhance the career of senior cricketers.
