KickStart for Kids is wonderful South Australian charity founded in 2011 based on the belief that every child, regardless of their social or economic background, should have an equal chance to succeed.
This amazing organisation runs school breakfast and lunch programs, mentoring programs and provides basic clothing and healthcare support in South Australian schools.
KickStart for Kids now supports more than 350 South Australian Schools, providing 50,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches each week to help level the playing field and end the cycle of hardship for these kids.
Youth Options are another wonderful organisation that provide support to young people experiencing social disadvantage. Their programs build confidence and skills through activities focused on social and emotional learning, skill development, and work preparedness. Learn more here
Also, as a registered NDIS provider, Youth Options transform the lives of young people living with a disability through a highly individualised service. Their experiential capacity-building programs empower young people to develop their confidence, skills and resilience that takes them out of a cycle of low skilled, low paid and insecure employment and into an employment pathway where they can thrive.
